In the first separation event, a first spacecraft is released from the stack using a first separation force having a first separation force in-track component along the in-track path. The second separation event occurs at a second time delay after the first time, and uses a second separation force to release a second spacecraft from the stack. The second separation force may have a different in-track component than the first separation force, or may have no in-track component at all.
